This large deck plate girder bridge crosses North Fork Long Creek near Ainsworth.
Built in approximately 1920, the bridge features a single deck girder span, set onto stone and concrete abutments. The ballasted deck was added to the bridge in 1921.
These types of spans were commonly built to cross larger creeks. It is set next to the southern and Iowa Highway 92.
Overall, this bridge appears to be in good condition, with minimal exterior deterioration.
